EFFECTIVE RECYCLING SOLUTION FOR YOUR COMPUTER EQUIPMENT October 13, 2010
Navigate IT & Telecoms has recently announced a new recycling service for businesses across the Island.
Launched in June this year the service provides companies with an effective solution to managing old computer equipment. Due to EU legislation, the Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment Directive (WEEE), stipulates there are special regulations surrounding the disposal of computer and telecoms equipment.
Navigate IT & Telecom’s service provides a simple, and hassle free option for businesses. “Many companies have had computer equipment piled up for some time in their offices, with no effective method of disposing of it,“ said Managing Director Paul Wood. “You can book this service by telephone or online and our engineers will collect the equipment at an agreed time. The customer is invoiced directly by us, so there is no inconvenience to the client at all. We are pleased to be the only IT & Telecoms Company on the Isle of Wight to offer a recycling service, and we have already seen a good take up since the launch”.
The recycling service ensures that data is properly and securely destroyed, and that all possible components are recycled according to legislation, and for the benefit of the environment.
