Navigate Solutions was established in 2005 in order to provide best of breed IT consultancy services to small and medium sized businesses on the Isle of Wight and south coast of England. Navigate’s experienced team of engineers have worked with businesses of all sizes from large blue chip Fortune 500 companies to SMEs with as few as 5 employees, but always with the single aim of providing the best IT solutions for companies.
In 2008, we acquired Island Telecom, the largest and longest standing telecoms company on the Isle of Wight. Set up by David Ward in 1993, Island Telecom started as a small service company offering support to clients for their telecoms equipment, when the Island’s telecoms requirements were largely serviced by mainland companies with very little, if any, local support.
Over the years their local expertise has proved invaluable and the company has expanded greatly and now supply, install and maintain telecoms and data services to an impressive client list including the Isle of Wight NHS Primary Care Trust, IOW Council, Isle of Wight Radio, Earl Mountbatten Hospice, Hovertravel and many of the Island’s Schools. The acquisition means that as a combined force, Navigate Solutions and Island Telecom can provide a new dual service for the Island, enabling complete integration of IT and Telecoms systems, a service of much benefit to companies, so that all their communication needs are serviced under one roof.

On June 25th 2010 Navigate Solutions and Island Telecom re-launched under one unified banner, the new brand, Navigate IT and Telecoms will continue to provide expertise, products and solutions that not only meet our customers needs now but grow and continue to perform as our customers do. The new company will focus on delivering outstanding solutions both technically and financially, backed by support unrivaled in the marketplace.
